The Girls on the Run 5k is the culmination of Girls on the Run of San Diego’s 10-week season. More than 500 girls ages 8-14, will celebrate their "girl power" by running 3.1 miles with their coaches, families, friends, teachers and community members. This event is open to anyone who wants to run, walk, or skip to the finish line!
The Girls on the Run 5k is a non-competitive, celebration 5k. All participants must register for the event. (Girls participating in the Fall 2015 GOTR season are automatically registered.) Everyone who crosses the finish line receives a medal!

7:30 am: Expo Opens
8:00 am: Teams gather to put on their sparkle & shine!
Girls and Coaches should arrive at their team meeting sign by 8:15am, to participate in pre-run activities.
Running Buddies should arrive at their team meeting sign by 8:30am to meet their team.
8:40 am: Executive Director/Guest Speaker address
General Registration participants are welcome to participate in pre-run activities, but should arrive no later than 8:45am to run.
8:50 am: Group Stretch
9:00 am: 5K Start
9:30 – 11:00 am: Post run celebration
There is no pre-5k-day packet pick-up. Please get to NTC Park early enough to check-in at the registration tables before the run starts.
The Girls on the Run 5K at NTC Park will be two counter-clockwise loops of the park starting and ending in Preble Field. You can see a course map here.
Please park in one of these locations, we have arranged for free participant parking in these lots ONLY:
Street parking should also be available - remember to read all posted signs for any restrictions.
