Coach Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Girls on the Run!

We are always accepting new coach accplications, but have most coaching positions filled for the Spring 2010 season.  If you are interested in being an assistant coach at one of the following locations between now and May 1, please make note of that in your application.
  - Rancho Bernardo (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:45 - 4:00 pm)
  - Oceanside (Mondays and Fridays 3:40 - 4:55 pm)
  - Carmel Valley (Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:15 pm)
  - Encinitas (Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:15 pm)
If you are interested in becoming a coach for our Fall season, we are accepting head and assistant coach applications for all sites and will get back to you sometime this summer.

Once your application has been received and a background check has been completed, we will contact you for an interview or invite you to coaches' training. Fill out the application online at Girls on the Run Coach Application After completing the volunteer application, you will need to visit a Live Scan office for fingerprinting and a background check.  Please print out this form and fill it out to take with you.  It is 3 identical pages: one for the Live Scan office, one for you and one for GOTR (the Requesting Agency).  There are numerous Live Scan offices around the county - here's a list.  Once you have been fingerprinted, bring the third signed copy of the form to coaches training so we have confirmation. If you will be coaching at a school site, you will also need a TB test.  After coaches training we will inform you if it will be required. Thank you for your time and dedication!
